The 10-year workmanship guarantee.
If we fitted it, we stand behind it. Every floor BAJ Flooring lays carries a written ten-year workmanship guarantee, on top of the manufacturer's warranty on the wood itself.
What it covers
For ten years from the date of completion, we will put right at our own cost any fault in the floor that is caused by our workmanship — the fitting, the subfloor preparation we carried out, the bonding or fixing, and the finishing we applied.
What it doesn't cover
- Normal wear, scratches, dents and fading from use or sunlight.
- Damage from water, leaks, flooding, pets, heavy objects or misuse.
- Movement caused by changes to the building, heating or humidity outside the ranges the manufacturer specifies.
- Floors we supplied but did not fit, or work altered by someone else afterwards.
The manufacturer's warranty
The timber itself carries the manufacturer's own warranty, which we pass straight to you with your handover pack. Engineered floors commonly carry long structural warranties; we'll tell you exactly what applies to the floor you choose.
How to claim
Call, email or WhatsApp us. The fitter who laid the floor will come and look at it. If it's our workmanship, we fix it — no forms, no fuss.
